Distribution prize for a Lebanese film 

The Boghossian Foundation in partnership with Fondation Liban Cinema is pleased to launch for the 9th year in a row, the Coup de Coeur Award for the distribution of a Lebanese film inLebanon and/or abroad.
A prize of $ 10,000 will be accompanied by an artist residency at Villa Empain-Brussels so that the artist / filmmaker can develop their next film project. 


Eligibility’s conditions: 


– The film must be Lebanese, with a Lebanese director and a Lebanese producer or co-producer.
– The film must be a feature film of more than 70 minutes: fiction or documentary
– The film must be in in the distribution stage or in the final stage of the post-production (image locked).
– The prize must help the film to be released in theaters in Lebanon or abroad.
– The prize will be awarded to the Lebanese producer who must ensure the release of the film in theaters in Lebanon or abroad. It can also help with the participation of the film in internationalfestivals.
– The Boghossian Foundation and Fondation Liban Cinema’s logos must appear in the end credits of the winning film.
– The Boghossian Foundation and Fondation Liban Cinema will each keep a copy of the winning film for non-commercial use. 

– The funding awarded by this prize can ONLY be used for distribution of the film. 


Required documents:
• A Complete funding plan for the post-production of the film

• A note of intent from the producer explaining her/his interest in the prize
• A letter of commitment from a distributor or vendor
• An action plan and a detailed budget for the $ 10,000
• The movie in Vimeo link

Deadline for submission: September 7, 2026

Applications that fail to be received on both emails will not be considered.


A jury of Lebanese and international professionals will meet in October to deliberate. 

The awards ceremony will take place in November 2026.
