Re-Writing workshop-Session II
For the 6th consecutive year, Fondation Liban Cinema in collaboration with the French Institute and in Partnership with the Ministry of Culture, organized its rewriting workshop for feature films projects that was held in two sessions: First one in January and the second one in April (from 4 to 8 April).
A professional jury composed of Elie Chalhoub, Hani Tamba, Jana Wehbe, and Amélie Depardon read the projects and made a first pre selection.
6 candidates (5 projects) were selected: Tony Farjallah, Gaby and Michel Zarazir, Antoine Remy, Jad Ali Hassan and Robert Cremona.
During these two sessions, 2 script doctors worked closely with the candidates on their projects: Yves Ulmann from Paris and Karim El Khoury from Lebanon.
Today and with the end of the workshop, a second jury composed of Elie Chalhoub, Michele Tyan, Omar El Kadi and Antoine Khalife made a final selection and chose Michel and Gaby Zarazir to win the price for their scenario “Les Quinze”. This price awarded by Fondation Liban Cinema, will allow them, for 3 months, to continue working on their scenario with a script doctor of their choice.
