Lebanon Series Lab wraps up its 1st edition
Lebanon Series Lab is a workshop created by Fondation Liban Cinema, to help Lebanese writers develop their series projects. The Lab took place in 3 sessions between November 2021 and March 2022, in which the participants worked on their series under the supervision of mentors Giacomo Durzi and Mehdi Ouahab, then prepared their pitch decks with international producer Michela Scolari.
At the end of the Lab during the “Industry Days”, the participants pitched their projects to local and international series producers, and “Beirut 1997 / Sit el Dunia” was awarded additional script consulting for being the best series project in development.

During the Industry Days, Fondation Liban Cinema organized a series of masterclasses open to public, covering all aspects of making a series, from writing, directing, producing and financing with director Laïla Marrakchi,
screenwriter Joëlle Touma, producer Bruno Nahon and Louis Bonneau from CNC.
