This one-time exceptional fund to support Lebanese feature film projects, funded by the European Union, with a total value of 72,000 euros aimed to support films that need a boost towards getting made. The fund was successfully launched, and a total of 28 applications were received from filmmakers. An independent committee of film professionals, allocated grants to nine film projects. The grants ranged between 5,000 and 15,000 euros, providing much-needed financial assistance to the selected projects, particularly benefiting documentary filmmakers.
All beneficiaries of the Lebanese Film Fund and the Creative Entrepreneurship Program received personalized and tailored one-on-one consultations with esteemed international experts from the film industry. These expert consultants provided invaluable guidance and mentorship in the specific areas of expertise that each project required.
