This year’s writing workshop focused on nurturing emerging ideas and guiding participants through the process of developing them into feature-length narratives. Led by award-winning scriptwriter Bane Fakih, the workshop brought together eight participants, each working on a distinct film project over the course of two months.
Through a series of intensive sessions, participants explored story structure, character development, and narrative voice, while receiving tailored feedback on their projects. The workshop created a collaborative environment that encouraged experimentation, critical discussion, and the refinement of each idea into a stronger, more compelling cinematic vision.
By the end of the program, each participant had significantly advanced their project, leaving with a clearer creative direction and a solid foundation for further development into a feature film.
