Coup de Cœur Award for films in Post-Production

[fusion_text]Boghossian Foundation and Fondation Liban Cinema are pleased to launch for the 3rd consecutive year, the Coup de Coeur Award.
This prize was initially conceived to reward films that are finished and are looking for distribution.
But in the exceptional circumstances the country is going through and taking into consideration that the Covid-19 has limited some theatrical distributions, the prize was reconsidered and tailored to help films in their latest stage of post-production.
The Coup de Coeur Award 2020 aims at rewarding a Lebanese feature narrative/documentary film, that has at least a first cut but still needs to finish any stage of the post-production, whether to lock the image, or the sound editing/mixing or the color correction.

The prize is a cash reward of $ 10,000 and will be accompanied by an artist residency at Villa Empain-Brussels for the artist / filmmaker to develop his /her next film project.

Eligibility’s conditions:
– The film must be Lebanese, with a Lebanese director and a Lebanese producer or co-producer.
– The film must be a feature film of at least 70 minutes: fiction or documentary
– The film must be in the final stage of the post-production with at least a first editing cut.
– The prize must help the filmmaker and the producer to finish the post-production of the film.
– The Boghossian Foundation and Fondation Liban Cinema’s logos must appear in the end credits of the winning film.
– The Boghossian Foundation and Fondation Liban Cinema will each keep a copy of the winning film for non-commercial use.

Required documents:
• A Financial Plan of the film.
• A note of intent from the producer explaining his interest in the prize
• An action plan and a detailed budget for the $ 10,000
• The film in its current stage uploaded on Vimeo with a private link.
