Fondation Liban Cinéma in partnership with Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, is opening a call for (our 7th consecutive) 3-month residency in Berlin for Lebanese film professionals with a feature-film project in development.
This residency offers the chance for filmmakers to develop their project and skills, learn about the film industry in Germany and meet producers and professionals, in accordance with their profile.
Eligibility:
- Film directors or producers with a proven professional background in film and television that are currently working on a new project.
- Applicants should have completed at least one film of a minimum of 60 min in any genre or format
- The completed film must have been supported by a film fund, a professionally recognized body or organisation, or have been commissioned by a broadcaster OR the film must have won local and international recognition, acclaim/prizes.
- Applicant must be available during autumn for the duration of the residency.
Application procedure:
- A letter explaining why you want to be an artist-in-residence in Berlin (max 2 pages)
- An updated CV
- A written description and concept of the project (treatment/synopsis or written presentation) (max 5 pages)
- Example(s) of previous work
- One OMT receipt of 50$ to the following number (+961 3 327 350)

Please note that the winner’s costs of travel and stay will be covered, and the stay is of 3 months between September and December.
