Fondation Liban Cinéma in partnership with Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, is opening a call for our 6th consecutive 3-month residency in Berlin for Lebanese film professionals with a feature-film project in development.
This residency offers the chance for filmmakers to develop their project and skills and learn about the film industry in Germany and meet producers and professionals, in accordance with their profile.
Eligibility:
- Film directors or producers with a proven professional background in film and television that are currently working on a new project.
- Applicants should have completed at least one film of a minimum of 30 min. in any genre or format.
- The completed film must have been supported by a film fund, a professionally recognized body or organisation, or have been commissioned by a broadcaster OR the film must have won local and international recognition, acclaim/prizes.
Application procedure:
- A letter explaining why you want to be an artist-in-residence in Berlin (max 2 pages)
- An updated CV
- A written description and concept of the project (treatment/synopsis or written presentation) (max 5 pages)
- Example(s) of previous work
Please note that the winner’s costs of travel and stay will be covered, and the stay should be between September and November.
