As part of FLC’s and Film London’s project AI in film: a creative dialogue, supported by the British Council. We have launched the AI in film online workshop, which took place on the 4th and 5th of June 2025 with mentors Eline Van Der Velden (Particle6), Yves Chlela (Ministudio) and Ben Aston.
Schedule:
4th of June -> (Full day) Workshop by Eline Van Der Velden covering the integration of AI into the filmmaking process from the pre-production stage to the post-production stage.
5th of June -> (Half day) Workshop by Yves Chlela covering the use of AI in animation and animated sequences.
5th of June -> (Half day) Workshop by Ben Aston covering AI and the role of the artist, covering broader topics about the uses of AI and the blind spots artists can face.
A closing event took place at Cinema Metropolis, joining our three mentors, with safety framework specialists Semeli Hadjiloizou and Lina Ouweidat, as well as Lebanese filmmakers Ahmad Ghossein and Vatche Boulghourjian, moderated by scriptwriter and director Antoine Waked.
