Global Media Makers Directing Workshop with Aaron Katz

      For the third consecutive year, from April 1^st till April 4 2019, the Global Media Makers program in collaboration with Fondation Liban Cinema, chose Lebanon to hold a 4 day workshop about directing actors for mid-career film and series directors.

The workshop was held by award winning American director Aaron Katz, whose most recent feature Gemini is a Los Angeles set thriller, starring Lola Kirke, Zoe Kravitz and John Cho.

More than 20 producer and filmmaker applied to the workshop and after a long and difficult deliberation, 17 applicants were accepted

The workshop provided an understanding of best practices of working with actors, the rehearsal process and directing for the camera.

The workshop was presented by Global Media Makers, an innovative mentoring initiative that connects visual storytellers around the world with U.S. entertainment professionals through specially tailored mentorships, workshops and master classes.
