[fusion_text]For the second consecutive year, the Global Media Makers program choose Lebanon to hold a workshop about Producing and distributing and how to have access on the American market. The workshop was open to professional producers and distributors.
17 producer, filmmaker and distributor attended the 3 days’ workshop that was held by experts MJ Peckos, CEO of Dada Films and Ted Mundorff, CEO of The Landmark Theatres, from the 19 till the 21st of March in parallel with the Beirut Cinema Platform.
Global Media Makers, is an innovative mentoring initiative that connects visual storytellers around the world with U.S. entertainment professionals through specially tailored mentorships, workshops and master classes. The program is a partnership between Film Independent, a Los Angeles based non-profit arts organization, the U.S Department of State and the American Embassy in Lebanon.
A conversation opened to the audience moderated by Lebanese producer Pierre Sarraf with the two leading marketing and distribution experts MJ Peckos and Ted Mundorff, followed the 3 days’ workshop in the frame of the Beirut Cinema Platform, with the collaboration of Beirut DC and Metropolis.
